Yessenia Peralta

Degree Program: MA

I am pursuing a Master of Arts in anthropology with a concentration in archaeology. I worked for three years as a field technician in California for a cultural resource management firm. I have participated in four Southern California and one Hawaii projects involving surveys, excavation, site survey, construction monitoring, site recordation, and laboratory work (organizing artifact collections, inventorying artifacts, entering site and excavation provenience information). I am pursuing my MA in anthropology and hope to conduct archaeological research using groundstone and paleoethnobotanical analysis in the Palenque region with Dr. Flavio Silva. I want to be a professor and researcher in the future. Roll Tide!
