Hope Sharp is a first-year master's student focusing in Cultural Anthropology under Dr. Galbraith. Her thesis focuses on the intersection of slow food and body image perception in Tuscany, Italy. Hope is interested in untangling the importance of convivial eating experiences, psychological anthropology, eating disorders, and personal identity. Hope is a proud Texan but has loved experiencing Alabama’s unique culture and all that can be learned from a new place. Aside from her anthropological pursuits, Hope is an avid traveler, walker, self-acclaimed “live music junkie”, and coffee addict.
