Gillian Faircloth is a first-year MA student in the anthropology program at UA. She received her bachelor's in both English and Anthropology from Rollins College. Gillian is especially interested in the anthropology of activism and social justice. Her MA thesis will focus on an ethnography of hope, working specifically with young Gun Violence Prevention activists.
