Dr. Ian Brown, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Anthropology, is the recipient of the 2021 Southeastern Archaeological Conference’s Lifetime Achievement Award! Awarded annually since 2003, the Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes senior scholars with significant contributions to Southeastern Archaeology.In receiving the award, Dr. Brown joins the ranks of other distinguished archaeologists including Professor Emeritus Jim Knight.
