Dr. Chris Lynn and Department of Anthropology students Taylor Puckett, Amanda Guitar and Nicholas Roy have just published a new article online in Evolutionary Psychological Science. It is entitled “Shirts or Skins?: Tattoos as Costly Honest Signals of Fitness and Affiliation among US Intercollegiate Athletes and Other Undergraduates.” As Chris says, “For study 2, we surveyed 5000+ UA undergrads about their tattooing/piercing, including 50% of our intercollegiate athletes!” This should be an interesting read.
