Our doctoral student Larry Monocello was awarded the H. Russell Bernard Student Paper Prize at the recent SAS (Society for Anthropological Sciences) meeting in Washington DC. According to Dr. Rosalyn Negrón, chair of the paper prize committee, “The committee voted unanimously in favor of [his] paper, which was excellent and exactly in the spirit of the HRB award.”
