Doctoral student Larry Monocello has been awarded the Critical Languages Scholarship from the American Councils for International Education, a highly competitive program with a ~10% acceptance rate. He will be spending eight weeks in an intensive, immersive language program at Chonnam National University in Gwangju, South Korea from June 5-August 5, fully funded by the U.S. Department of State.
