Joseph Anderson

I received my B.A. in Anthropology from Auburn University in December 2009.  As a high school student, I had the opportunity to spend my summers volunteering for the Alabama Museum of Natural History Archaeological Expeditions which is affiliated with the University of Alabama. Through this program, I was involved in numerous excavations ranging from Mississippian mounds in Natchez, Mississippi to Fort Toulouse in Wetumpka, Alabama.  At Auburn, my fieldwork and research focused on prehistoric Southeastern archaeology, a research interest I plan to continue here at the University of Alabama under the guidance of Dr. Brown.
