Emma Koenig
Hi! I graduated from the University of Colorado in the Spring of 2011 cum laude with a B.A. in Anthropology. My focus is in archaeology but more specifically Maya archaeology! I have been working in Belize, Central America since 2009 at the site of Aguacate Uno just north of San Ignacio, Cayo District. I am planning on focusing my Masters thesis on a group of termination deposits found within Aguacate Uno's site core. On a broader scale I am interested in the rise of complex societies as well as regional interactions especially within the Belize River Valley.
